The People Analytics Specialist supports evidence-based people decisions at Northstar People Analytics. The role owns monthly workforce dashboards, reconciles source data, investigates recruitment conversion and retention trends, and explains limitations to managers. Work includes SQL validation, Power BI reporting and careful handling of confidential employee data. The specialist reports to the Head of People and partners with recruitment and HR operations to turn analysis into practical improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Statistics, Data Science or a related quantitative discipline from an accredited institution.
- Recognised professional certificate in data analytics or business intelligence.
- Completed accredited training in personal information protection and responsible data handling.
- Producing workforce reports and validating HR data quality.
- Building Power BI dashboards for business stakeholders.
- Analysing recruitment funnel performance and retention trends.
- Presenting findings to non-technical managers.
- Handling confidential employee data under documented privacy controls.
- Clean and reconcile workforce datasets using SQL and explain anomalies before reporting.
- Understand recruitment funnel measures, retention rates, sampling bias and privacy safeguards for workforce analysis.
